Bar Type Cutting Tools
Tip bar is one of the types of lathe cutting tools and refers to a bar tool for internal machining. There are various types of tools for lathe machining, such as for outer diameter cutting, end face cutting, inner diameter cutting, grooving / parting off, and threading. The shape of the bar is diamond, pentagon, etc. Materials include CVD coating, PVD coating, diamond sintered body, cemented carbide, and ultra-high pressure sintered body. Harder and less wear-resistant materials tend to be less susceptible to impact because they are less sticky. Appropriate selection is possible according to the material of the processed product.
