Collets
A collet is a cylindrical jig for fixing tools and workpieces used in machine tools. It has a structure with radial cuts from the center of the cylinder. A tool or workpiece is inserted into the notch and fixed by tightening from the outside. Since tools and workpieces are gripped over a large area, they can be securely fixed. Fixing tools include end mills, drills, taps, and reamers. There are various types such as spring collet, straight collet, tap collet and taper collet.
