Tool Blocks
A tool block is a tool for fixing to a machine tool a blade equipped with a chip for cutting metal. There is an advantage that the plate-like blade is firmly held on the upper and lower surfaces of the tool block and chatter vibration can be suppressed. It is also possible to adjust the protrusion of the blade if necessary. There are types that supply coolant to cutting edges that become hot due to machining operations, and types that have oil supply holes that can supply cutting oil stably. It is important to select the right tool block for grooving and parting off.
